Jackal USA version

I have mentioned this game in some earlier posts on the blog. The game is still a mystery to me.

Back in 1989 this game was released by NEC in the states and the game was only working on NTSC computers.

If you try to run the NEC version on a Commodore 64 in PAL mode then you will see the game is unplayable and needs a PAL fix.

Warriors of Wasteland released a PAL fixed version of the game in 2008 and this is the mystery. Why noone imported the game to Europe and PAL fixed it is a big question?. Several bad US releases was imported to Europe in the end of the 80s, but also US versions of known European game got imported (Forgotten Worlds USA version, Dream Warrior USA version and Captain Fizz USA version just to mention a few)

Where is the fixed PAL version of this game? Did the european groups think the game was the old game from 1987 and decided to skip it? Did the european groups have problems PAL fixing the game? or did the just skip the game because of the bad quality?
